It was so lovely to spend some time with the Graham’s before they welcome their baby girl in a few short months. It feels like it was just yesterday I was photographing Diana when she was pregnant with Eli and now he’s about to be a big brother! Here are some of my favorites of these three (and a half) on a quiet morning in their Austin backyard.
Congratulations to Amy & Bryan, truly one of the most beautiful couples I’ve ever known. They married yesterday in a gorgeous ceremony surrounded by family & friends, many of whom gathered around them Friday night to toast them in true Austin style- with margaritas and queso! Here are some of my favorite images from their rehearsal dinner where there were many sweet speeches, a classic slideshow and lots and lots of love. Mazel tov!
It is so much easier for me to take other families portraits than my own. Even before little Lee came along, it was hard enough for just Tim, Hugo (our dog) and I to get together and look in the same general direction to make a good picture. With a 5 month old baby though? Forget it. Luckily, Lee’s Nana Noni and Great Aunt Carol were in town and between all the extra hands to hold, dress and distract the baby, I managed to finally have the time to take a shower and throw my tripod and camera in the car and hope that Lee didn’t have a melt down on the way to the pumpkin patch (or once we got there). He did. But once he saw all these funny looking orange things, he lit up with curiosity and it was go time. I managed to get these sweet portraits of my beautiful family before Lee fully realized he could not fit the pumpkins in his mouth and before the sunset. Now to get Hugo in the next family portrait….
