On this eve of Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my amazing clients who allow me to support my family doing what I love and entrusting me to capture their most special moments. I’m also thankful for sweet little girls with mermaid hair, tutus and frilly socks who dance and laugh at every opportunity. Aaaand adorable little boys who just love their mommas so much (I have a special sweet spot for those). With that, here is a preview of my recent shoot with the beautiful and joyous Koenig family at their north Austin home and Bull Creek.
Wishing everyone a safe, happy and healthy Thanksgiving with your families!
I just can’t find the words to express how wonderful my recent portrait session with the gorgeous Cardenas family was so I’ll just show you. Here’s a preview of some of my favorites and before you say anything, I know. This kids smile is out of this world.
It’s so rewarding to truly gain a child’s trust; it’s a big reason why I’ve been photographing families for so long. It’s a constant challenge that forces me to be creative, kind, adaptable and it’s a good work out, too.
I love these images because you can literally see sweet Charlotte opening up like a flower. When we started our session at Mueller Lake Park in Central Austin, she was shy, clinging to momma and holding tight. And then we found some really cool rocks and she was finally seeing what was so interesting about this park. You can’t always tell but she is holding a rock in every single picture, clenched in her tiny fist, gaining more and more confidence and opening up to me and my camera. *Swoon*
Oooh, you guys, what’s the saying? “Genes so nice, they made them twice?”, well in this case, they made them thrice.
You know what I mean.
Here is a preview of my lifestyle session with the gorgeous Bounds family at their home in Austin.
