I just can’t find the words to express how wonderful my recent portrait session with the gorgeous Cardenas family was so I’ll just show you. Here’s a preview of some of my favorites and before you say anything, I know. This kids smile is out of this world.
It’s so rewarding to truly gain a child’s trust; it’s a big reason why I’ve been photographing families for so long. It’s a constant challenge that forces me to be creative, kind, adaptable and it’s a good work out, too.
I love these images because you can literally see sweet Charlotte opening up like a flower. When we started our session at Mueller Lake Park in Central Austin, she was shy, clinging to momma and holding tight. And then we found some really cool rocks and she was finally seeing what was so interesting about this park. You can’t always tell but she is holding a rock in every single picture, clenched in her tiny fist, gaining more and more confidence and opening up to me and my camera. *Swoon*
This is my second time working with the Deonarine Family and they were just as lovely as ever. With three energetic, charming and thoughtful children under the age of eight, Tiffany and Jonathan win all the awards. Here are some of my favorites from their sweet family session at Twin Lakes Park in Cedar Park.
Do not adjust your screens. Lee is actually this blond, this tan and this cute. Here’s a peek at our much needed last minute family vacation to Topsail Island, NC.
I still can’t believe this is my kid.
